2012 NFL Mock Draft: Walter Football Has Texans Going Wide Receiver With First Pick

The Houston Texans draft spot is not yet solidified since they are still in the playoffs, so they will be picking anywhere from No. 26 to No. 32. Also, most of the mock drafts have the Texans taking Memphis nose tackle Dontari Poe, however over at Walter Football they have the Texans taking a wide receiver with their first pick:

No. 26 Houston Texans: Mohamed Sanu, WR, Rutgers: How long is Gary Kubiak going to make us fantasy football owners suffer through Kevin Walter and Jacoby Jones? The Texans really need an upgrade across from Andre Johnson.

I'll admit that this is a reach, but nothing else really makes sense at this juncture. Besides, the Texans have reached to fill needs before, so I think it's possible that they could consider Mohamed Sanu if the 2012 NFL Draft unfolds this way.

Walter Football takes their mock draft deeper than other sites at the moment and go four rounds deep and they have the Texans picking defense with two of their next three picks.

• Second round pick: Josh Chapman, NT, Alabama Crimson Tide

• Third round pick: Michael Brewster, C, Ohio St. Buckeyes

• Fourth round pick: Trevor Guyton, DE/DT, California Golden Bears
