falcons-interception.jpg The Atlanta Falcons defense forced four turnovers against the Broncos and sacked Peyton Manning three times in a 27-21 win over the Broncos.

1. San Francisco 49ers: The 49ers had the toughest two-game start to the season and handled both challenges with relative ease. (Last Week: 1)

2. Atlanta Falcons: The Falcons defense made things tough on Peyton Manning, intercepting the Denver QB on the first three drives Monday night. (Last Week: 6)

3. Houston Texans: It doesn't hurt to start the season with a couple of cupcakes, but Texans dominated both opponents. (Last Week: 5)

4. Green Bay Packers: Packers still have plenty of question marks, but defense (read: Clay Matthews) impressive in win over Chicago. (Last Week: 4)

5. Philadelphia Eagles: It wasn't pretty, but a home win over the Ravens looks nice on the resume. (Last Week: 13)

6. Baltimore Ravens: The Ravens gave up a late lead in Philly and Joe Flacco and company weren't able to put golden-legged rookie Justin Tucker in position to steal back the victory. (Last Week: 2)

7. Pittsburgh Steelers: With the full defense back, the Steelers proved they're still a contender in the AFC. (Last Week: 12)

8. New England Patriots: The early loss of TE Aaron Hernandez seemed to sap all of New England's energy, but no excuse for losing to Arizona at home. (Last Week: 3)

9. Denver Broncos: A tough road loss in Atlanta. It's clear Manning is still knocking off the mental rust as much as the physical. (Last Week: 7)

10. San Diego Chargers: This team always seems to be a bit of an enigma. The Chargers have opened the season by soundly beating their first two opponents. (Last Week: 17)

11. New York Giants: On the cusp of an 0-2 start, Eli Manning went off and rallied the defending Super Bowl champs to a victory over Tampa. (Last Week: 11)

12. Detroit Lions: The offense struggled for the second week in a row, but it's hard to find a lot of flaw in a one-score loss to the NFL's best team on the road. (Last Week: 10)

13. Arizona Cardinals: Larry Fitzgerald had one reception for four yards in the win over New England. (Last Week: 23)

14. Chicago Bears: If we were ranking offensive lines, Chicago would be last. (Last Week: 9)

15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: They blew the game against the Giants, but this is a much improved team from last season. (Last Week: 18)

16. Cincinnati Bengals: After getting lit up on Monday night, the Bengals bounced back nicely, putting up 34 against the Browns. (Last Week: 19)

17. Seattle Seahawks: An impressive defensive performance on the road in Dallas. (Last Week: 24)

18. Dallas Cowboys: As good as the Cowboys looked in a season-opening win against the Giants, they looked that awful against Seattle. (Last Week: 8)

19. Carolina Panthers: The Panthers solved their rushing woes just in time to run all over the Saints. (Last Week: 25)

20. New York Jets: Mark Sanchez completed just 10 passes against the Steelers defense. (Last Week: 14)

21. Buffalo Bills: A rebound performance for the Bills defensive line and C.J. Spiller is one of the NFL's most electric players. (Last Week: 26)

22. St. Louis Rams: Jeff Fisher's bunch derailed the RGIII train for one week and Danny Amendola did his best Wes Welker impersonation, catching 15 passes for 160 yards. (Last Week: 28)

23. Washington Redskins: If it wasn't for a stupid personal foul penalty, the Redskins were likely headed to overtime against the Rams. Loss of Orakpo and Carriker for the season is devastating news. (Last Week: 16)

24. New Orleans Saints: We thought the Saints would be able to persevere in the face of the NFL suspensions relating to the team's bounty scandal. We were wrong. (Last Week: 15)

25. Miami Dolphins: Reggie Bush looked like the player we all thought he could be coming out of USC. (Last Week: 32)

26. Indianapolis Colts: Andrew Luck gets his first win and first game-winning drive. (Last Week: 31)

27. Minnesota Vikings: The Vikings will be a pesky opponent this year. Quarterback Christian Ponder has shown significant improvement since last season. (Last Week: 27)

28. Tennessee Titans: After two games Chris Johnson has 19 carries for 21 yards. (Last Week: 21)

29. Cleveland Browns: Trent Richardson looked fantastic and quarterback Brandon Weeden rebounded from an abysmal debut, but Browns still have plenty of holes to fix. (Last Week: 29)

30. Oakland Raiders: Carson Palmer just isn't very good. (Last Week: 22)

31. Kansas City Chiefs: Two straight blowout losses to start the season, just like last year. (Last Week: 20)

32. Jacksonville Jaguars: We learned where Chad Henne is playing these days when he took over for injured starter Blaine Gabbert. (Last Week: 30)
