(NewsCore) - NBA star LeBron James proposed to his longtime girlfriend at a New Year's Eve dinner party in Miami Beach, People magazine reported.
The Miami Heat forward and his fiancee, Savannah Brinson, have dated since high school and have two children together.
Their sons LeBron Jr., 7, and Bryce, 4, were on hand to witness the happy occasion Saturday night -- at a swanky soiree at Vesper American Brasserie at the Shelborne Hotel in South Beach.
The party was hosted by his Miami Heat teammate Dwayne Wade, and his girlfriend Gabrielle Union, to celebrate James' 27th birthday.
Heat power forward Chris Bosh and actress Queen Latifah were also among the 60 friends and family members at the shindig.
