Rockets Vs. Bobcats Final Score: Houston Hangs On For 82-70 Win Over Charlotte

Chandler Parsons scored 20 points to help lead the Houston Rockets past the Charlotte Bobcats by a score of 82-70. The win improves Houston's record on the season to 3-6 on the season. Charlotte falls to 2-8 overall.

Parsons, the 6-foot-9 rookie out of Florida, hit 9-16 shots and also finished with seven rebounds for the Rockets. Kevin Martin had a tough night shooting the ball but finished with 17 points and four assists in the game. Jordan Hill came off the bench and stuffed the stat sheet with 12 points, 12 rebounds and five blocked shots. Kyle Lowry finished with six points, 11 rebounds, eight assists, two steals, two blocks and six turnovers in an up and down game for the Houston point guard.

Byron Mullens once again gave the Bobcats a solid performance off the bench finishing with 15 points and 10 rebounds to lead the team. Gerald Henderson added 12 points and D.J. Augustin 11 for Charlotte. Kemba Walker came off the bench to score nine points, grab eight rebounds and hand out three assists in the loss.
