T.J. Yates Injury: Houston Quarterback Heads To Locker Room With Apparent Injury

After Ben Tate scored on the Houston Texans' opening possession, quarterback T.J. Yates left the field and headed to the locker room with an apparent injury. ESPN's John Clayton reports that Yates was banged up with a still undisclosed injury.

Yates later came back from the locker room but there has yet to be any report on his status for the remainder of the game. Houston has had some unbelievably bad luck this season involving quarterbacks having already lost Matt Schaub and Matt Leinart to season-ending-injuries.

Jake Delhomme entered the game for Yates and may remain in the game with the Texans set to make their first playoff appearance ever at home next week.
