The Houston Rockets will play nine of their next 11 games at home beginning on Friday night when they host the visiting Sacramento Kings.
Jan 13, 2012 - The Houston Rockets are a little road-weary this season after playing seven of their first 10 games away from home. The Rockets will start to settle in some on Friday when they host the Sacramento Kings opening a nine of 11 stretch at home to close out the month. The Rockets fell to 3-7 Wednesday night with a 101-95 loss in overtime to the San Antonio Spurs.
Sacramento captured its first road win of the season over Toronto on Wednesday. A key for the Rockets will be to slow down DeMarcus Cousins who has played really well since Keith Smart replaced Paul Westphal as head coach. Cousins is averaging 18.3 points and 13.5 rebounds in the four games since the coaching change.
