Houston Texans agree deals with Ball, Forsett - FOX 4 News

HOUSTON -- The Houston Texans reached contract agreements Saturday with free agents Alan Ball and Justin Forsett, myFOXhouston.com reported, citing sources.

Ball had played his entire five-year career with the Dallas Cowboys, who drafted the cornerback in the seventh round in 2010.

He played in 60 games for the Cowboys, starting 21, including all 16 games in 2010. The 27-year-old had 37 tackles, six passes defensed and one interception last season.

Forsett, 26, had been with the Seattle Seahawks since 2008. The running back's best season was in 2010, when he ran for 619 yards, averaged 5.4 yards per carry and scored four touchdowns.
