Houston Texans Training Camp Opens Friday, July 27 - SB Nation

The Houston Texans were decimated by injuries last season, but despite having to lean on a young third-string quarterback in the home stretch, they managed to have their most successful season in franchise history with a respectable playoff run.

The Texans are looking to field a stronger and healthier team this fall, as Matt Schaub, Darryl Sharpton and others will be returning from injury. The Texans still have Arian Foster and a potentially powerful offense to lead them in 2012, despite losing Mario Williams to free agency, who was a key component of the defense.

The Texans will get a chance to see how all the pieces will fit together as their training camp opens on Thursday.
