JJ Watt of Houston Texans, will be OK after dislocating elbow - NFL News

Houston Texans fans can breathe a sigh of relief. While J.J. Watt dislocated his elbow in practice Thursday, coach Gary Kubiak said things look good for his star defensive end.

Watt will miss some practice time, but the Texans don't believe his injury is serious, as Kubiak told the media "all the tests came back good."

Kubiak said earlier he expected to have Watt back on the field by the Texans' regular-season opener against the Miami Dolphins.

Kubiak didn't rule out Watt, who has already begun rehabbing his elbow, for the preseason, but isn't sure exactly how long he'll be out.

Watt started every game as a rookie last season and finished with 56 tackles and 5.5 sacks as the Texans reached the playoffs for the first time in franchise history.
