The Houston Rockets are looking for their first road win and trail the Los Angeles Lakers 50-46 at halftime. Luis Scola led the Rockets with 12 points in the first half to help keep things close. Kobe Bryant leads all scorers with 15 points at the intermission while Andrew Bynum has been a beast on the interior with 12 points and 14 rebounds already.
Houston struggled from the field hitting less than 40 percent of their shots but took care of the basketball and only turned it over three times. The Lakers shot over 52 percent in the first half but turned it over 10 times. The Lakers also have a big advantage at the free throw line where they went 10-14. Houston was just 3-4 from the charity stripe in the first half.
