Rockets Vs. Pistons: Houston Tries To Reach .500 For The First Time This Season

After winning their last three game, and four out of their last five, the Houston Rockets have a chance to get to .500 for the first time this season when they host the Detroit Pistons Tuesday night.

Ever since the insertion of Chandler Parsons, a versatile 6'10 rookie from Florida, into the starting line-up, Houston is 4-2, with both of their losses coming in the last seconds to the Thunder and Spurs.

And just as the Rockets are heating up, their schedule is about to get significantly easier, as they play seven of their next eight games at the Toyota Center, with the Spurs and the Knicks their only opponents considered legitimate playoff contenders.

The Pistons are already 3-10 with a -9.2 point differential, and asides from promising second-year big man Greg Monroe, not much else has gone right for Detroit this season.

They have some interesting perimeter scorers in Ben Gordon and Rodney Stuckey, but neither player fits well with rookie lottery pick Brandon Knight of Kentucky, who is being groomed to become their PG of the future.

The 7:00 PM game will be broadcast regionally on Fox Sports Net Houston.

The Dream Shake has you covered for the latest news and notes on the Rockets, while Detroit Bad Boys has everything all the pre-game perspective from the Pistons side of things.
