Rockets Vs. Kings Final Score: Houston Has A Big Second Half To Defeat Sacramento 103-91

The Houston Rockets used a big second half to defeat the Sacramento Kings 103-91 to win their fourth game of the season. The Rockets methodically outscored the Kings in the third quarter 31-20 and held onto that lead through out the rest of the game.

The starters for the Rockets picked up their scoring with all five scoring in double figures, three scoring more than 20 points with Kyle Lowry leading all Rockets with 25 points. Luis Scola who led the Rockets in scoring in the first half with 17 points and only scored four second half points and had a bad shooting night by going nine of 23 from the field. Samuel Dalembert was the third 20 point scorer for the Rockets, and he also had 16 rebounds and four blocks.

The rebounding edge that Houston held in the first half continued in the second half and was one of many reasons to why the Rockets won. They ended up out rebounding the Kings 55 to 36 and more importantly 18 to six rebounds on the offensive end.

The next game for the Rockets is against the Portland Trailblazers on Saturday Jan. 14.
