If The Rockets Can’t Handle Hornets, Kiss The Playoffs Goodbye

You read that right. The Rockets, who are currently on a four-game winning streak, have no excuse to drop this game to New Orleans.

While the Hornets are coming off of a losing effort to Memphis last night, the Rockets should have fresh legs on the court tonight thanks to Coach Kevin McHale. He fortunately had the luxury of resting his starters during the last game, and then gave his guys the following day off to relax a bit.

Let us not forget that this is the Paul-less Hornets that we are talking about here.  There is a reason that they are in the basement of the Southwest Division. While they do have a few players that might be decent in a few years, they don’t have nearly enough talent to run with this budding Houston team.

Long story short â€" the Rockets should handle this lackluster New Orleans team without much of a fight so that they can look forward to a big home game on Saturday versus San Antonio.
