The Baltimore Ravens will be counting on the alum of "Ball So Hard University" Terrell Suggs to be the disruptive force that could quite possibly land him the new title of defensive player of the year. If Suggs find a way to to get after Houston Texans quarterback T.J. Yates, then Gary Kubiak's will officially be grounded.
The person who can prevent Suggs from balling so hard? Duane Brown.
Left tackle Duane Brown played his best season and was voted second-team All-Pro. His assignment on most pass plays is outside linebacker Terrell Suggs, the Ravensâ best pass rusher who registered 14 sacks. Suggs is a terror coming off the edge. Brown allowed only two sacks, tied for fewest in the AFC. He has to keep Suggs off T.J. Yates.
The Texans won't ask T.J. Yates to do more than he's capable of, but when he needs to make a big throw they've got to keep him off his back.
