Texans Vs. Ravens Update: Turnovers Killing Houston, Baltimore Leads 17-3

The Houston Texans got off to a great start in their divisional round playoff game versus the heavily favored versus Baltimore Ravens. A long kickoff return gave the Texans good field position and a Neil Rackers field goal gave Houston a 3-0 lead. Then, the Texans forced a 3-and-out and the Ravens had to punt.

Then things went downhill from there.

A muffed Jacoby Jones punt catch attempt lead to a 2-yard touchdown pass from Joe Flacco to Kris Wilson. Then, a LarDarius Webb interception on a poor read by T.J. Yates who seemed determined to throw the ball to a blanketed Andre Johnson. After the turnover, Joe Flacco found Anquan Boldin on a ten-yard touchdown to push the lead to 17-3.

Here is the video of the interception by LarDarius Webb on T.J. Yates.

Mistakes have ruled the day, and this Texans team might not be built to dig themselves out of such a hole. There's still plenty of time left, and Houston will have to figure something out before they get rolled in Baltimore.
