Andre Johnson Injury Update: Texans WR Expected To Be At Full Strength For NFL Playoff Game Against Ravens

The Houston Texans have secured the first postseason win in the history of their franchise and are now hitting the road to take on the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday in the second round of the 2012 NFL playoffs. The Texans have been beat up in recent weeks, with lots of speculation about exactly how injured is their star wide receiver, Andre Johnson.

Johnson had missed games this season with various injuries and was battling hamstring issues heading into their first playoff game. Speculation extended even past the game, with questions as to whether Johnson had been rushed back, or if the playoff game negatively affected the injury.

On Monday, Texans beat reporter Nick Scurfield reported that Johnson was feeling no ill effects following Houston's opening-round playoff win over the Cincinnati Bengals last Saturday.

This is certainly great news for the Texans. As they head to Baltimore for their second-round playoff game against the notoriously punishing defense of the Ravens, they can ill afford to be without the player who is arguably their most potent offensive weapon.
