Former Saint Mary's and Hayward High men's basketball star Diamon Simpson has signed with the Houston Rockets, according to the Houston Chronicle.
The 6-foot-7, 230-pound forward recently completed a stint with the Adelaide 36ers of Australia's National Basketball League. He averaged 14.3 points and 8.6 rebounds for the 36ers this season.
Simpson attended training camp with the Warriors in 2009, then played for the Los Angeles D-Fenders of the NBA Developmental League. He went on to play in the Philippines and Turkey before signing with Adelaide.
