Both the Miami Dolphins and Oakland Raiders are looking to erase memories from a pair of forgettable Week 1 performances that saw the teams collectively outscored 52-24.

The environment for today's game may give the Dolphins a distinct advantage, but following an embarrassing Week 1 performance, expectations for this team are low regardless of circumstances. Then again, the Raiders didn't look much better in their opening week loss to the San Diego Chargers.

This Week 2 tilt pairs two teams desperate to rebound from Week 1. Although it might get sloppy, this has the makings of a closely contested game. Can Ryan Tannehill snatch his first NFL victory, or will Darren McFadden carry the injury riddled Raiders to their first victory of the 2012 season?

Raiders Players to Watch:

Darren McFadden: The Chargers limited McFadden to just 32 rushing yards on 15 carries last week, but Run DMC won't be limited like that again. Not even against the Dolphins' dominant front seven.

In order to avoid McFadden from single-handedly swinging the game in Oakland's favor, Miami needs to contain him in the passing game, where he was targeted 18 times in Week 1.

Denarius Moore: Moore missed Week 1 with a hamstring injury, but according to Jerry McDonald of the Oakland Tribute, he'll return on a limited basis this week. As a rookie in 2011, Moore averaged 18.7 yards per reception.

He's a lethal vertical threat who has the speed to beat any secondary, so the Dolphins must be conservative when he's on the field. Otherwise, he could change the game on one play.

Rolando McClain: Following the Raiders' Monday night loss to the Chargers, John Breitenbach of Pro Football Focus wrote, "[Rolando McClain] had perhaps the most dominant performance against the run of any linebacker in Week 1, even though the stat sheet reads just four stops." McClain is now entering his third NFL season, and if last week was any indication, then he's ready to become the anchor of Oakland's defense.
